How to use essential oils:

Organic Alley essential oils are pure and safe to use topically or for aromatic purposes.  When these essential oils are inhaled, air molecules reach the brain and affects the nervous system to improve your mood.  Essential oils can eliminate the positive ions of pollution and offer you purer air to breathe. Plus, they can also kill germs and bacteria (or viruses) too.

You may use a few drops of Organic Alley essential oils to apply on:
  • palms of your hands
  • chest and abdomen
  • forehead and temples
  • behind the ears and neck
  • pulse points
  • bottom of feet
  • legs and arms
  • itchy or  insect bitten skin
  • add a few drops to lotion or moisturizer and then apply to skin
  • add a few drops to your favourite shampoo or your homemade hair cleansing solution
You may also:
  • use in household cleaners and deodorizers
  • use as pest repellent
  • put a few drops into water for diffusers (15-20 drops for 250-500ml of water)
  • use in hot or cold compress by soaking a towel or cloth in water, adding essential oils, and then applying to the desired area
  • apply to cedar balls or aroma sticks
  • apply oil to a cotton ball and place in the air vents of your vehicle
  • mix oils in a spray bottle with water and mist over furniture, carpet, or linens
  • add a few drops to a batch of laundry or to dryer sheets

Please avoid applying near sensitive areas such as eyes, inner ears.  Too much oil can saturate the air and cause headaches, nausea and overall, aggravate your state. Studies show that diffusing (thus inhaling) essential oils for more than 60 minutes can raise blood pressure. They can make you more agitated and nervous.  Diffuse your essential oils for 20 – 30 minutes, every two hours.  Not all essential oils can be used by pregnant women.
